Springdale schedules Don Tyson Parkway project meeting Thursday
SPRINGDALE — The city will hold a public involvement meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday to discuss a proposed project to widen and extend Don Tyson Parkway west from Gene George Boulevard to South Maestri Road.
The meeting will be held at the Sam’s Club Community Room at Arvest Ballpark, 3000 Gene George Blvd.
The meeting will be an open house with no formal presentation. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions and offer comments, according to a city news release.
The final design is scheduled to be completed by early 2018.
Residents who are unable to attend can pick up copies of the proposed design and a feedback form from the Mayor’s Office at 201 Spring St.
The cutoff to submit feedback for consideration is July 21, according to the release.
