Spring­dale sched­ules Don Tyson Park­way project meet­ing Thurs­day

SPRING­DALE — The city will hold a public in­volve­ment meet­ing from 4 to 7 p.m. Thurs­day to dis­cuss a pro­posed project to widen and ex­tend Don Tyson Park­way west from Gene Ge­orge Boule­vard to South Maestri Road.

The meet­ing will be held at the Sam’s Club Com­mu­nity Room at Ar­vest Ball­park, 3000 Gene Ge­orge Blvd.

The meet­ing will be an open house with no for­mal pre­sen­ta­tion. The public is in­vited to visit any­time dur­ing the sched­uled hours to view ex­hibits, ask ques­tions and of­fer com­ments, ac­cord­ing to a city news re­lease.

The fi­nal de­sign is sched­uled to be com­pleted by early 2018.

Res­i­dents who are un­able to at­tend can pick up copies of the pro­posed de­sign and a feed­back form from the Mayor’s Of­fice at 201 Spring St.

The cut­off to sub­mit feed­back for con­sid­er­a­tion is July 21, ac­cord­ing to the re­lease.
