Mercy clinic moves to larger quarters
Mercy Clinic Orthopedics and Mercy Sports Medicine celebrated a new, larger facility Wednesday at 1000 S. 52nd St. in Rogers. The 22,000-square-foot facility is near Mercy Clinic Rheumatology and Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine. The clinics are part of Mercy’s $247 million expansion plan announced in April 2016.
Mercy Clinic Orthopedics holds the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for knee and hip replacement. The clinic is able to do some joint replacements as outpatient surgery. Physicians provide subspecialty expertise regarding the shoulder, spine and pediatric orthopedics.
The clinic houses 13 providers and features 41 examination rooms and 15 casting beds. Physicians working at the clinic are Drs. Scott Cooper, W. Cody Grammer, Michael Griffey, Chad Jones, R. Jacob Kaler, John Mertz, Gannon Randolph and C. Wade Fox. Certified physician assistants located in the clinic are Amanda Hartman, Farrah Jennings, Kindle Simon, Julie Slavik and Lindsey Smallridge.
Mercy invested $1.3 million in the new clinic space, which is leased. Mercy’s construction partners on the project included Studio 6, Seger Architects Inc., Collins Haynes, Hart Cone Construction and HCH Consulting.
