ARRESTS Rogers

Douglas Charles Beringer, 42, of 2505 W. Olrich St. in Rogers was arrested Tuesday in connection with failure to register as a sex offender. Beringer was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Rodrick Madia, 30, 2605 W. Olive St. in Rogers was arrested Wednesday in connection with aggravated assault. Madia was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

Brandon Jackson, 32, of Proctor, Okla. was arrested Wednesday in connection with sexual assault and rape. Jackson was being held Wednesday in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

FIRE Fayetteville

A structure fire was reported at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday at 1493 N. Dawn Drive. Firefighters put out the fire that started in the kitchen at the duplex. One side of the building had heavy damage and the other apartment had smoke damage, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department. The Red Cross was contacted to provide a place for the residents to stay.

POLICE Prairie Grove

A stolen vehicle was reported at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday on Baker Mountain Road.
