Prairies highlight Audubon meet­ing

North­west Arkansas Audubon So­ci­ety will meet at 2 p.m. July 22 at Hobbs State Park-Con­ser­va­tion Area vis­i­tor cen­ter.

Dan Scheiman, bird con­ser­va­tion di­rec­tor for Audubon Arkansas, will give a talk on Audubon Arkansas’ na­tive prairie project. The project en­cour­ages landown­ers to plant na­tive grasses and wild­flow­ers to ben­e­fit birds and all wildlife.

The public is wel­come. Audubon mem­ber­ship is not re­quired.
