Police say man, 25, beaten
FAYETTEVILLE — A 25-year-old man was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center early Friday morning after police said he was beaten in the parking lot of Arsaga’s at the Depot on Dickson Street.
The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition, said Becky Stewart, Central EMS chief.
Police were called to 548 W. Dickson St. at 5:07 a.m. for an intoxicated person, according to the online dispatch log.
Police haven’t released the man’s name and are trying to notify family. They haven’t yet been able to talk with him because he’s in the intensive care unit, police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Murphy said Friday afternoon.
There are no suspects in the case, Murphy said. An employee at Arsaga’s said no one was at the cafe at the time.
