Jim Woz­niak re­ceived the Adrian L. White Mu­nic­i­pal Lead­er­ship Award from the Arkansas Mu­nic­i­pal League dur­ing the group’s 83rd con­ven­tion held June 14- 16 in Lit­tle Rock. The award is pre­sented to mu­nic­i­pal of­fi­cials who have served with dis­tinc­tion and ded­i­ca­tion to their ci­ties and the League’s boards, coun­cils or com­mit­tees for six years. Woz­niak is on the Bella Vista City Coun­cil. Court­ney M. Cook joined High­lands On­col­ogy Group as an on­col­ogy ge­netic coun­selor and ge­netic ser­vices co­or­di­na­tor. She is the first on­col­ogy-ded­i­cated board- cer­ti­fied ge­netic coun­selor in North­west Arkansas and will see pa­tients at the cen­ter and will serve as a re­source to health care providers in the com­mu­nity.
