The Washington County Quorum Court approved Thursday contributing $9,125 to match a $27,375 state grant and buy an emergency storm shelter for Evansville. The area was hit by a tornado last year and applied for a grant with the Hazardous Mitigation Grant Program through the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.
