The United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, presents the youth and vol­un­teers of vacation Bi­ble school lead­ing the ser­mon dur­ing the Sun­day wor­ship ser­vice.

The church plans a “paint-by-num­ber” pro­ject of the Luther Rose for chil­dren on July 29. The United Sin­gles meet for Bingo at 10 a.m. Aug. 5. Church mem­bers meet for dis­cus­sion of the book, Lies We Be­lieve About God, by Wm. Paul Young, at 10 a.m. Aug. 2.

The church col­lects non­per­ish­able food items for Snack Packs to be given to Gravette schools.

The church of­fers a se­ries of 22 “Cof­fee Chats” through Au­gust for mem­bers to gather and meet the new se­nior pas­tor, the Rev. Jeanne Wil­liams.

The Shep­herd’s Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Fri­day. Do­na­tion re­quests in­clude sham­poo, de­odor­ant and body wash. The church’s fel­low­ship team asks for do­na­tions of chil­dren’s school cloth­ing in sizes medium (10 to 12), large (14 to 16) and ex­tra large (18 to 20).

First Pres­by­te­rian Church in Ben­tonville, 901 N.E. J St., of­fers a Bi­ble-based day camp for chil­dren who have com­pleted kinder­garten to sixth grade. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon­day to Fri­day.

The church op­er­ates a food pantry from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Satur­day.

The Ladies Birth­day Lun­cheon groups meets at 11:30 a.m. Fri­day.

The church presents a “Cre­ative Kids Make It and Share It” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 31 to Aug. 4 for stu­dents in kinder­garten through 12th grade. Par­tic­i­pants will make dif­fer­ent pro­jects each day and de­liver them to non­profit agen­cies in Bella Vista.

Through the sum­mer months, the church col­lects snacks for kids to do­nate to Help­ing Hands Food Pantry in Ben­tonville. Sug­gested items in­clude cheese and crack­ers, fruit cups, juice pack­ets and boxes, gra­nola bars and mi­crowav­able items such as mac­a­roni and cheese, ravi­oli and soups.

High­land Chris­tian Church (Dis­ci­ples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 For­est Hills Blvd., of­fers a class on be­com­ing a mem­ber of the Dis­ci­ples of Christ at 9 a.m. Sun­day and July 30. First Pres­by­te­rian Church in Spring­dale,

100 S. Guten­sohn Road, cel­e­brates “Christ­mas in July” dur­ing the 10:30 a.m. wor­ship ser­vice Sun­day. Christ­mas mu­sic and the Christ­mas mes­sage will be pre­sented with­out the stress of the hol­i­day sea­son in the back­ground. Gifts will be col­lected for chil­dren at the Vera Lloyd Pres­by­te­rian Home in Mon­ti­cello, and Christ­mas cook­ies will be served dur­ing the af­ter-wor­ship fel­low­ship.
