Misiewicz, Wal­drop lift Travs over Nat­u­rals

LIT­TLE ROCK — Kyle Wal­drop home­red and had two hits, driv­ing in two, and An­thony Misiewicz tossed eight score­less in­nings as the Arkansas Trav­el­ers topped the North­west Arkansas Nat­u­rals 4-3 on Mon­day.

Ryan Kelly struck Hum­berto Arteaga out with a run­ner on first to end the game for his sec­ond save of the sea­son.

Misiewicz (3-1) al­lowed four hits while strik­ing out seven and walk­ing one to pick up the win.

Arkansas got on the board first in the fourth in­ning when Wal­drop hit an RBI sin­gle and Seth Me­jias-Brean scored on a fielder's choice.

Af­ter Arkansas added two runs, the Nat­u­rals cut into the deficit in the ninth in­ning when Mauri­cio Ramos hit a three-run home run.

Emilio Ogando (6-7) went seven in­nings, al­low­ing three runs and four hits while strik­ing out three in the Texas League game.

For the Nat­u­rals, Ramos home­red and sin­gled, driv­ing home three runs. An­der­son Miller sin­gled three times.
