Truckers set to hold safety conference
For truckers interested in how President Donald Trump’s administration will affect the industry, there will be a safety conference in Little Rock next month hosted by the Arkansas Trucking Association.
The two-day event begins at 8 a.m. Aug. 29 at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock. Members of the Arkansas Trucking Association will pay $175, and nonmembers will pay $225.
Among the topics are the future of electronic logging devices, in-cab cameras, an update from an official with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and safety regulations including labor standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
