Whose side is this nation’s president on?
The linkage between our president and Russia becomes more difficult to understand every day.
It’s obvious that President Donald Trump has a great preference to all things related to Russia. His demeanor becomes all the more pleasant and engaging when he discusses Russia.
Trump’s two-hour meeting with Putin was a significant win for Putin. Putin simply denied having tampered with our 2016 presidential election. Trump says OK, let’s just move forward.
Now we learn of another hour meeting with Putin, with only a Russian interpreter present. Not only do we not know the contents of the discussion, but even Trump does not know.
Why would our president do this? I believe it’s because of the Trump family’s direct investments in Russian land, businesses and leveraged ventures. Why not share his tax returns? It’s one aspiring autocrat schmoozing another autocrat. Whose side is he on?
Our president describes his legislative plans as “terrific” and “tremendous” and “something better for everyone.” Beware of the sales pitch with no content. Beware, beware, beware! TOM GOLDSBOROUGH
