The health-care fight

Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette - - VOICES -

News flash: If the Republicans had worked on fixing what was wrong with the health-care bill while Barack Obama was president, someone who knew what he was doing, we might have had a good health-care plan by now.

Instead the Republicans chose to try to stop President Obama from doing his job. Now they are stuck with the health-care bill up there in Washington, looking stupid, and don’t know if they should go home or go crazy.

John Boehner, the speaker of the House before Paul Ryan, said the Republicans would never repeal and replace Obamacare. He said over the 30 years he was in Washington, Republicans didn’t have any idea what to do about a health-care bill. HENRY GOODLOE
