Mis­sourian to build Ben­tonville com­plex

A Mis­souri-based de­vel­oper is build­ing a 235-unit apart­ment com­plex in Ben­tonville with an es­ti­mated to­tal project cost of more than $30 mil­lion.

The I Street Apart­ments will go up next door to the Ben­tonville Com­mu­nity Cen­ter at the cor­ner of South­west I and 41st Street and is slated to open in late 2018. It will in­clude six, three-story build­ings and will of­fer one, two and three bed­room units.

Lon­nie Funk, pres­i­dent of Mis­souri-based Affiniti Man­age­ment Ser­vices, said in an in­ter­view Tues­day the com­plex will have ameni­ties that are at­trac­tive to young pro­fes­sion­als who live and work in the Ben­tonville area.

The lo­ca­tion will have open meet­ing ar­eas, a re­sort-style pool, a park where dogs can play of­fleash, and it will have ac­cess to jog­ging and bik­ing trails, Funk said.
