DURHAM — Pa­tri­cia Lorene Smith, 73, of Durham, Ark., died Aug. 10, 2017, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1944, at Way­ton, Ark., the daugh­ter of Loyd Lee and Imo­gene Clara Flippo Reynolds.

She was a home­care provider and a Bap­tist.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; one brother, Robert Reynolds; and one sis­ter, Vir­ginia Starr.

Sur­vivors: her hus­band, Bobby A. Smith, of the home; two step­daugh­ters and one step­son-in-law, Robyn Smith of Lit­tle Rock, Ark., and Cyn­thia and Michael Ed­mon­son of May­field, Ark.; two god­daugh­ters, Cady Hartlerode of Harrison, Ark., and Chelsey Hartlerode of Elkins, Ark.; one brother, Loy Reynolds of Durham, Ark.; two sis­ters and one brother-in-law, Reba and Phil Owens of Spring­dale, Ark., and Edith War­ford of Durham, Ark.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held at 2 p.m. Satur­day, Aug. 12, in the chapel of Bras­hears Fu­neral Home with Rev­erend Jasper Hank­ins of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will be in the Wal­nut Grove Ceme­tery at Crosses, Ark., un­der the di­rec­tion of Bras­hears Fu­neral Home-Huntsville www. bras­hears­fu­ner­al­home.net.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Satur­day prior to the ser­vice.

FAYET­TEVILLE — Dean Reeves, 71, of Fayet­teville, passed from this life on Aug. 9, 2017, in Spring­dale. He was born on Feb. 10, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa. He is pre­ceded in death by his mother, Vi­vian Cur­tis and a son, Michael Reeves. Left to cher­ish Dean’s mem­ory are his wife, Pa­tri­cia Reeves; daugh­ters, Wendy Todd and Heather Reeves; a son, Dean Reeves II; and nine grand­chil­dren. FAYET­TEVILLE — Joan

Cole Scar­brough, age 87, passed away Aug. 10, 2017, at her home in Fayet­teville, Ark. Mrs. Scar­brough was born in War­rens­burg, Mo., to Lawrence and Lula Cole on Feb. 15, 1930.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 53 years, the late Hugh R. Scar­brough, Jr.; her par­ents and her only sib­ling, Ber­na­dine Cole Ford.

She is sur­vived by her seven chil­dren: James Cole Scar­brough, Cathy Plaf­can and her hus­band Jon, Su­san Davis and her hus­band Drew, Ann Rat­cliff and her hus­band Randy, Teresa Camp­bell and her hus­band Brent, Spencer Scar­brough and his wife Mignonne and Michael Scar­brough and his wife Ch­eryl; 24 grand­chil­dren and 25 great-grand­chil­dren.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be held 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Sun­day, Aug. 13, 2017, at Moore’s Chapel. Rosary will be held 1 p.m. Mon­day at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayet­teville, with Fu­neral Mass to fol­low at 1:30 p.m. A pri­vate fam­ily in­ter­ment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Ceme­tery.

PEA RIDGE — He­len Imo­gene Rob­bins, 85, passed away on Aug. 9, 2017, in Pea Ridge. She was born on April 10, 1932, in Rogers, Ark., to the late Carl F. and Ethel S. (Townsend) Rounds. She was the lov­ing wife of the late Charles RC Rob­bins.

She loved be­ing out­side sit­ting on her porch, do­ing yard work, feed­ing the birds, watch­ing the deer from her win­dow, sewing, fish­ing, vis­it­ing with her neigh­bors, tak­ing care of her grand­kids and her great­est joy of be­ing a mother to Billy and Robby.

She was pre­ceded in death by her lov­ing hus­band of 52 years; par­ents and sib­lings, Vir­gil Rounds and Velma Weaver.

He­len is sur­vived by her sons, Billy and Robby Rob­bins, both of Pea Ridge; brother, Clyde Rounds; nine grand­chil­dren and 21 great-grand­chil­dren.

A vis­i­ta­tion will be on Sun­day, Au­gust 13, 2017 from 4 un­til 6 p.m. at Rollins Fu­neral Home Chapel. Burial will be on Mon­day at the Fayet­teville Na­tional Ceme­tery at 11 a.m.

SPRING­DALE — Betty Lor­raine Douthit, 91, of Spring­dale, Ark., left us to be with her Lord on Aug. 9, 2017. She was born on Dec. 18, 1925, to the late An­son and Mary Geiger in Guide Rock, Neb.

She was mar­ried to her hus­band, Johnie Douthit in 1949. They had 68 won­der­ful years to­gether. They were known as great crap­pie fish- er­men and en­joyed each other all of those years.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; two broth­ers; one sis­ter and one step­son, Scotty Dale Douthit, and wife Linda.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, Johnie of Spring- dale; one grand­son, Scotty Dale Douthit and wife Tracy; a great-grand­son, Scotty Dale Douthit, all of Rus­sel­lville, Ark.

SPRING­DALE — Larry Lane Thomas, 66, of Spring­dale, died Tues­day, Aug. 8, 2017, at Washington Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter. He was born June 1, 1951, in Spring­dale to Frank and Opal Edge­mon Thomas.

Larry had a big heart and en­joyed rid­ing horses in his younger years.

He is sur­vived by two chil­dren, Bryan Thomas and Brid­get Henry and her hus­band Richard, both of Pea Ridge; four broth­ers, James Thomas, Don­ald Thomas, Dean Thomas, Charles Thomas; one sis­ter, Carolyn Rig­gins; and four grand­chil­dren, Trevor, Ma­son, Tif­fany, and Trin­ity.
