Union artillery demonstrated

Learn the role artillery played in the Battle of Pea Ridge when Pea Ridge National Military Park staff members blank fire a reproduction Model 1841 6-pound gun behind the park visitor center. Programs are at 11 a.m., noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Programs last approximately 20 minutes and are subject to weather.

Demonstration dates include Aug. 26, Sept. 2, Sept. 23, Oct. 7 and Oct. 21.
