SPRINGFIELD , Mo. — Mike Herrod,

34, son of Charles and Kay Herrod passed Thursday, July 9, 2020. He was living in Springfield, Mo., and was the manager of Food For Less grocery.

Mike loved the beach, hunting, and was always ready for adventures like river rafting and camping. As a child, he lived and worked on a farm in Western Arkansas and loved it.

He graduated from Bentonville High School, and as a young man went to Florida where he worked in hospitality. After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a degree in finance, Mike began working for Harps grocery, working first in Arkansas, then in Missouri.

Survivors include his parents and sister Natalie Herrod Pototschnik.

A goodbye to Mike will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., at Greene County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Heath Funeral Home.
