Don’t let race-baiters disrupt nation’s unity

On July 4, 2020, America celebrated its 244th birthday. Yes, slavery existed in America for the first 89 years we existed as a sovereign nation, but we fought a horrific civil war to eradicate it from oppressing a specific group of our people. In fact, over 300,000 young men paid the price in blood to free their fellow human beings from the sin of slavery. But, 155 years have passed since that liberation.

Isn’t it time to work together for benefit of us all? We can’t allow a small number of race-baiters, hate-mongers and agitators with selfish motives to keep us at each other’s throats. E pluribus unum — United We Stand!
