This season, adding a sexy vibe to your South Beach home is simpler than you might think.
THIS SEASON, ADDING A SEXY VIBE TO YOUR SOUTH BEACH HOME IS SIMPLER THAN YOU MIGHT THINK.
If there’s a time to step up the sex appeal in your home, it’s now. And according to Margarita Courtney of Miami’s Margaux Interiors, small touches can make all the difference. “I think everybody likes romance,” Courtney says. “It is important to have as nice a surrounding as you can. Color is extremely important, [as is] beautiful lighting. Or turn off the lights and dine by candlelight.”
Courtney and her daughter, Crissi Courtney Boland, also point to accessories, such as Z Gallerie’s Mongolian throw and Lalique’s Aphrodite sculpture, for a subtle dose of romance.
Accessories and interior design books served as the inspiration in their new 2,500-square-foot store space, launching in South Miami this month. Their original shop opened in 1988 in Bayside, and since then the duo has redecorated thousands of homes in South Florida, from Miami-dade to Palm Beach.
