Spotlight destination Koh Samui.

Koh Samui, an island off the coast of Thailand, is home to a myriad of quiet, beautiful beaches and mountainous jungles perfect for your own personal exploration. Trekkers and hiking enthusiasts will be pleased to find that the island can be circumnavigated in about a day and scuba divers and snorkelers will find exceptional underwater expeditions in the Ang Thong National Marine Park. The population on this island is relatively small, home to 40,000 inhabitants, of which 90% practice Buddhism. For those looking for a glimpse at spirituality in Thailand, the Big Buddha Temple is a perfect location where patrons can meditate at the base of the majestic, 12-meter high Buddha statue. For those seeing adventure, the jungles located at the center of the island are relatively uncharted and awaiting your explora

tion. But these jungles are fairly dense, so remember to bring thick pants and lots of water!
