ABOVE El­e­ments struc­tural and dec­o­ra­tive on porches like this one on a Queen Anne Vic­to­rian sur­vive be­cause they typ­i­cally were built with tight-grained, old-growth lum­ber, and reg­u­larly main­tained with paint.
