Kathy King passed away peace­fully in her home with her fam­ily at her side on Thurs­day Oc­to­ber 25, 2018. Kathy was born May 6, 1949 to James Franklin Beck and Celia Mae Copp in Hills­dale, MI.

Through­out her ca­reer, Kathy had sev­eral men­tor­ship and lead­er­ship roles, in­clud­ing V.P. of Sales for Tup­per­ware, U.S and Tup­per­ware, Canada. How­ever, her most ful­fill­ing po­si­tion was with Ju­nior Achieve­ment. Kathy loved work­ing with the stu­dents at the JA Academy for Lead­er­ship & En­trepreneur­ship. Her la­bor was driven by the be­lief that every stu­dent should have the abil­ity to show suc­cess. Kathy loved watch­ing “her kids” grad­u­ate and move on to achieve suc­cess in higher learn­ing. She left an in­deli­ble mark on ev­ery­one who knew her. Kathy is sur­vived by her hus­band, Jerry W. King and her chil­dren, Ja­son (Judy) and Ni­cole (Michael) and her dearly loved grand­daugh­ter Made­line. Her love ex­tended to her step grand­chil­dren Teresa, Ni­cholas and An­thony as if they were her own. Kathy was pre­ceded in death by her sis­ter Su­san Dar­lene Beck. She is sur­vived by sis­ters, Nancy En­trikin of North Adams, MI, Pat Sager Jack­son, MI and brother, James Franklin Beck (Tra­cie) Grass­lake, MI. of of

A funeral will be held at Carey Hand Colo­nial Funeral Home 2811 East Curry Ford Road, Or­lando 32806. View­ing on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 29 from 5:oo p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Ser­vice on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 30 11:00 a.m. with burial ser­vice to fol­low at Green­wood Ceme­tery.
