Trump plans to visit Florida on Thursday
President Donald Trump will travel to Florida on Thursday to look at damage from Hurricane Irma, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Tuesday. “The president and the entire administration continue to monitor the situation in Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, Florida, Texas and all areas affected by hurricanes Irma and Harvey,” she said during a daily press briefing. No further details were immediately available about where Trump, who has a home in Palm Beach, would travel. Earlier Tuesday, Trump tweeted, “The devastation left by Hurricane Irma was far greater, at least in certain locations, than anyone thought — but amazing people working hard!”
