Kidder’s death ruled a suicide:
Margot Kidder, most famous for playing Lois Lane in “Superman,” died by suicide, her daughter confirmed Wednesday. Kidder, 69, was found dead in her Montana home May 13 “as a result of a selfinflicted drug and alcohol overdose,” according to Park County Coroner Richard Wood. The actress’ daughter, Maggie McGuane, said she knew the cause of death the moment authorities took her to Kidder’s house.
