Lyman has been rated No. 1 in Class 7A girls volleyball all season and the Greyhounds are also No. 1 in the Sentinel Super Six rankings for Orlando area schools after rolling through their district tournament last week.

The Greyhounds continue their quest for a state championship when they host Orange City University (6-10) in a region quarterfinal on Wednesday night.

Here are the Super Six and Second Six teams:

1. Lyman (24-1): Greyhounds’ lone loss was to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic in final of Nike Tournament of Champions.

2. Lake Nona (16-3): Lions are 11-0 since losing to Lyman on Sept. 26. They’re undefeated at home and have not lost to an Orange County team.

3. Hagerty (13-5): 2019 state champs graduated a ton of talent but are peaking at the right time with seven wins in past eight matches.

4. Lake Mary (15-5): Rams are enjoying a banner season but have the misfortune of being in the same district and region as Lyman.

5. Windermere (8-2): Wolverines had abbreviated schedule in COVID-19 season but juniors Ana Julia Bleeker and KiKi Granberry stand out.

6. DeLand (15-6): Bulldogs have won 10 in a row, including 2-0 vs. Lake Brantley, going into home region quarterfinal vs. Lake Mary.

Second six: 7. Kissimmee Osceola (14-6); 8. Lake Brantley (17-6); 9. Trinity Prep (12-4) 10. Winter Park (11-6); 11. Boone (13-7); 12. Oviedo (11-10).
