-

Syndy “Smurf” Erin Muirheid, 39, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on January 3, 2021.

She was born in Miami, Florida on February 7, 1981. Syndy graduated high school and went to FSU and Tallahassee Community College until her health deteriorated. For the last several years, Syndy lived with debilitating physical conditions, but despite that, she never gave up.

She was loving, humble, loyal to a fault, funny, intelligent and she loved the simple pleasures each day brought her way. Even though she lived with constant pain, she was a joy to everyone who had the privilege to be around her.

Syndy loved balloons, Oreo peppermint ice cream, Eeyore, travel, music, her pets, fireworks, rainbows, tiramisu, the color blue, her country and just experiencing what life had to offer. Most of all, she treasured her family.

She fought so hard against all her medical issues with a strength rarely seen. Her body finally gave out, but her spirit never did.

Syndy is preceded in death by her father, Donald Anthony Muirheid who passed on June 13, 2001 and her brother, Donald Anthony Muirheid, Jr. who passed away in 2002.

She is survived by her mother, Sydney Ellen Muirheid; brother, Donald Albert Muirheid; and half-brother, Ronald Jay Rogers.
