Want to be part of the ac­tion this Thanks­giv­ing? Sur­prise your friends and fam­ily by throw­ing the pigskin with aplomb. 1. Grip the ball with your throw­ing hand, fngers spread com­fort­ably with your ring and pinkie fngers over the laces, in­dex fnger over the seam and the thumb un­der­neath. Leave a bit of space be­tween the ball and your hand and hold it lightly with your fnger­tips. 2. Stand per­pen­dic­u­lar to your tar­get and bring your throw­ing arm straight back so your el­bow is above your shoul­der point­ing to­ward the tar­get and the end of the ball points to­ward your own head. 3. Step to­ward your tar­get, ro­tate through your hips and ex­tend your arm for­ward, re­leas­ing the ball at head height and snap­ping your wrist. Fol­low through so your thumb fnishes point­ing down with your palm fac­ing out­ward. 4. Fist-bump your team­mates as your throw be­comes a touch­down pass.
