Uninspired play

Packer Plus - - Commentary -

With all the injuries to the run game, and pass defense the Packers needed a stellar performance from Aaron Rodgers to have a chance. Unfortunately, we got what is now known as an average performance from Aaron Rodgers.

When a quarterback makes as much money as Rodgers does, it is difficult to replace him no matter how poorly he plays. Troy Aikman has said early on that “He’s a little off” referring to Rodgers accuracy. In all fairness even Davante Adams is back to his old ways of dropping passes. Jordy Nelson and Ty Montgomery fumble at critical times of the game.

Give the Cowboys credit. They played with intensity and played to win. This Packer team had too many turnovers, looked unrehearsed, and pressed to make any kind of play. With Rodgers continuing his mediocre (for him) play and our defensive backfield defenseless this is going to be a long season.
