Tailgate Tour hitting the road
Players past and present will take part in events
This year’s Packers Tailgate Tour heads north.
The annual event that includes team executives, players and former players will make stops in Medford, Ashland, Houghton, Mich., Rhinelander, and Iron Mountain/Kingsford, Mich., from April 4-8.
Tailgate parties in each city will raise money for a local nonprofit organization. The customized tour bus also makes unannounced stops along the way.
Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy will be accompanied on the 12th annual tour by players Brett Hundley, Aaron Ripkowski and Jake Ryan, and former players Robert Ferguson, Ahman Green and Ryan Longwell.
Tickets for scheduled events are $30 and include food, giveaways, question-and-answer sessions and autograph sessions. General admission tickets for each event are $10 and include Q&A sessions and tailgate party activities. Food and drinks are extra. All proceeds go to the hosting organization.
Tickets can be purchased from the sponsoring organizations in each city.
