Wishing the best for Gutekunst

Packer Plus - - News -

Our new Packer GM has been a devoted and loyal worker for our Packers for 20 years!

As to his acumen and ability to spot able and exceptional football players, only team president and CEO Mark Murphy, and perhaps Coach Mike, know or perhaps it’s a mere guess by them, since he has never had this position before.

Most Packers aficionados, despite his lack of experience, wish him the best and great success which benefits him, our Packers, and us the fans. But the success is in the pudding. So, we pray he’ll be unique for us Packer hearts all.

But as to his Germanic name Gutekunst, which I have no doubt he is proud of, after doing some research, I suggest he change it to CRAFTSMAN, a very close equivalent and easily pronounceable. Just a suggestion, Brian. Though I should not talk, for my name, with all those o’s in it, sounds like a petroleum or oil company — like Sunoco or Amoco, etc.!

Go Brian. Go big G. And piles of thanks to Mark Murphy for his courageous move! Antonio Monaco Chicago
