Fashionable outing for women’s literacy
Brooks Brothers holds sip ‘n’ shop reception.
Aleisurely look at fashions by Zac Posen highlighted a sip ’n’ shop reception to benefit the Foundation for Women’s Cultural and Economic Literacy.
The event took place April 19 at the Brooks Brothers store on Worth Avenue.
The afternoon included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a look at the spring/ summer 2017 women’s collection, for which Posen — the company’s creative director — fused ultra-feminine constructions with lush fabrications and buoyant prints.
Brooks Brothers’ principal women’s stylist Stacy Wallace-Albert co-hosted the event and offered personalized styling guidance and an enhanced explanation of the collection.
All purchases during the event were discounted, and Brooks Brothers donated a percentage of sales to the foundation.
