Col. Harold I. Hill, Pearl Harbor survivor
Col. Harold I. Hill of Palm Beach, a retired officer of the U.S. Air Force, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017. He was 97.
Col. Hill fought in World War II and in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
In addition to his wife Isabelle Hill, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Darley Adare; a stepgrandson, David B Putnam III; a niece, Laura Remsen; and two cousins, Jeff and William Hendrickson.
A private memorial service will be held at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the Sea.
