Col. Harold I. Hill, Pearl Har­bor sur­vivor

Col. Harold I. Hill of Palm Beach, a re­tired of­fi­cer of the U.S. Air Force, died Sun­day, Aug. 27, 2017. He was 97.

Col. Hill fought in World War II and in the Korean and Viet­nam wars. He was a sur­vivor of the at­tack on Pearl Har­bor.

In ad­di­tion to his wife Is­abelle Hill, he is sur­vived by a step­daugh­ter, Dar­ley Adare; a step­grand­son, David B Put­nam III; a niece, Laura Rem­sen; and two cousins, Jeff and Wil­liam Hen­drick­son.

A pri­vate me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at The Epis­co­pal Church of Bethesda-by-the Sea.
