As Florid­i­ans con­tinue to pre­pare for Hur­ri­cane Irma, some school clos­ings and event can­cel­la­tions have been an­nounced.

Here’s what is closed so far:

Town of Palm Beach meet­ings, in­clud­ing the Re­cre­ation Com­mis­sion, Un­der­ground Util­i­ties Task Force, and the Or­di­nances, Rules and Stan­dards Com­mit­tee meet­ings have been can­celed.

The So­ci­ety of the Four Arts will be closed at least un­til Fri­day.

The Nor­ton Mu­seum of Art will be closed today through at least Mon­day.

The Ar­mory Art Cen­ter will be closed today, Fri­day and Satur­day.

The Fla­gler Mu­seum will be closed Fri­day, Satur­day and Sun­day.

This means that the House and Ho­tel Tour sched­uled for Satur­day and the Grand­par­ents Day event planned for Sun­day are can­celed.

Palm Beach Fel­low­ship of Chris­tians and Jews has can­celed the A Taste of the High Holy Days in­ter­faith pro­gram on Sun­day at Tem­ple Beth El in West Palm Beach.

All Palm Beach County, Broward County and Mi­ami-Dade County pub­lic schools are closed today and Fri­day.

FAU classes were can­celed Wed­nes­day through Sun­day, but staff were on cam­pus Wed­nes­day.

Palm Beach State college cam­puses will be closed today through Sun­day.

All Early Learn­ing Coali­tion of PBC of­fices were closed Wed­nes­day at 2 p.m. and will re­main closed today through Fri­day.

State courts will be closed statewide on Fri­day.

Com­pass com­mu­nity cen­ter will be closed for all groups and meet­ings today through Sun­day.
