Festival tickets on sale
Every year, tickets for the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival’s cornucopia of chef-studded events sell out weeks — even months — before the four-day extravaganza unfolds: Whew, good thing tickets now are on sale for the December fest.
The 11th annual festival, organized by founder David Sabin and taking place Dec. 14-17 in various locales in the Palm Beach area, features more than a dozen events.
These range from chef-studded dinners to a kickoff shebang at The Breakers; a lunch series, street food competition, children’s cooking demonstrations and a courtyard-fountain brunch, among other things.
The festival’s Dec. 14 opener features four dinners held simultaneously, including two in Palm Beach at Buccan and PB CATCH Seafood & Raw Bar. The Dec. 17 closing act: the festival’s annual Grand Tasting at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.
Once again, the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival’s host-hotel and headquarters is the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, where several fest events will be held, such as the annual Chillin’ n’ Grillin’ poolside cookout soirée with scads of chefs.

If approved, the proposed house would be built by an owner whose identity remains cloaked behind 235 Via Vizcaya LLC, a Florida limited liability company that in May paid about $5 million for the vacant land.
