Storm moves show to Jan. 12

Busch pro­duc­tion post­poned due to Hur­ri­cane Irma.

Be­cause of Hur­ri­cane Irma, the Charles Busch show sched­uled for 8 p.m. Satur­day at Palm Beach Dra­ma­works has been post­poned to Jan. 12.

Dra­ma­works re­ports that its phones, in­ter­net and web­site are down fol­low­ing Hur­ri­cane Irma’s sweep through West Palm Beach.

Pa­trons who have pur­chased tick­ets to the show will be no­ti­fied by the the­ater’s staff on per­sonal phone lines.

Those in­ter­ested in buy­ing tick­ets to the resched­uled show and other Dra­ma­works events should try call­ing the box of­fice at 514-4042 Thurs­day or Fri­day or early next week, when Dra­ma­works hopes to have its sys­tems run­ning again, Wil­liam Hayes, pro­duc­ing artis­tic di­rec­tor, said.

Th­ese arts venues in the area will re­main closed un­til fur­ther no­tice: Nor­ton Mu­seum of Art, Palm Beach Pho­to­graphic Cen­tre, Ar­mory Art Cen­ter, Richard and Pat John­son His­tory Mu­seum, Ann Nor­ton Sculp­ture Gar­dens, Fla­gler Mu­seum, and the Palm Beach Zoo and Con­ser­va­tion So­ci­ety.

One place that is open is the Cul­tural Coun­cil of Palm Beach County.

The Florida Artists Group ex­hi­bi­tion runs at the coun­cil, 601 Lake Ave., Lake Worth, through Sept. 23.
