Storm moves show to Jan. 12
Busch production postponed due to Hurricane Irma.
Because of Hurricane Irma, the Charles Busch show scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday at Palm Beach Dramaworks has been postponed to Jan. 12.
Dramaworks reports that its phones, internet and website are down following Hurricane Irma’s sweep through West Palm Beach.
Patrons who have purchased tickets to the show will be notified by the theater’s staff on personal phone lines.
Those interested in buying tickets to the rescheduled show and other Dramaworks events should try calling the box office at 514-4042 Thursday or Friday or early next week, when Dramaworks hopes to have its systems running again, William Hayes, producing artistic director, said.
These arts venues in the area will remain closed until further notice: Norton Museum of Art, Palm Beach Photographic Centre, Armory Art Center, Richard and Pat Johnson History Museum, Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, Flagler Museum, and the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society.
One place that is open is the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County.
The Florida Artists Group exhibition runs at the council, 601 Lake Ave., Lake Worth, through Sept. 23.
