Wet weather to persist thanks to tropical wave
Rain chances increase for South Florida today as a push of moisture followed by a tropical wave promises wet days through Saturday at least.
The National Weather Service in Miami said Palm Beach County could begin seeing showers and isolated thunderstorms early today from the rush of sogginess that will move through the area Friday. Thunderstorms are expected to be strongest during the afternoons today and Friday.
But following that moisture is a tropical wave that will close in on South Florida from the Bahamas Saturday.
