John David Corey and Miguel Rosales
John David Corey of Palm Beach and Miguel Rosales of Boston announce their engagement.
Mr. Corey is the son of Donald and Marcia Corey of Boston and Naples.
Mr. Rosales is the son of Lidia Marina de Rosales of Guatemala City and the late Marco Antonio Rosales.
Bridegroom-to-be Corey is a native of Boston and earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a master’s degree in real estate and urban design from the School of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He owns Boston Investment & Development, a firm specializing in real estate interests in Boston and Palm Beach. He is a board member of the Beacon Hill Civic Association and the Architectural Commission.
Bridegroom-to-be Rosales is a native of Guatemala City with a bachelor’s degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquin and a master’s degree in real estate and urban design from the School of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He owns Rosales + Partners, a company specializing in the design of landmark bridges in the United States and abroad.
He was the lead architect and designer of several noted landmark bridges including the Leonard P.
Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge in Boston, the Liberty Bridge in Greenville, S.C., and the Puente Centenario over the Panama Canal. He is a board member of the Beacon Hill Garden Club and the Beacon Hill Architectural Commission.
The engagement took place on May 15, 2017, at the famous Table 40 of the Parker House Restaurant in Boston.
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place early next year at The Breakers followed by a honeymoon in Buenos Aires.
