Hôpi­tal Al­bert Sch­weitzer Haiti’s work cel­e­brated in style

Steel drums, the col­or­ful Haitian head­dresses and balmy breezes lent a de­cid­edly Caribbean air to the Palm Beach ben­e­fit for Hôpi­tal Al­bert Sch­weitzer Haiti.

The fifth an­nual White Hot Night took place March 24 at the Sail­fish Club and cel­e­brated the hos­pi­tal’s 61 years serv­ing the Haitian peo­ple.

Kris­ten Kelly Fisher and Louise Stephaich were chair­women for the event, which be­gan with cock­tails, hors d’oeu­vres and steel drums. Mod­els — clad in cus­tom-made out­fits rep­re­sent­ing Haiti’s vi­brant colors and cul­ture — posed on pedestals by the pool and min­gled with guests dur­ing the re­cep­tion.
