The third of four large concrete pours at the historic Testa’s site was completed without any problems, Cody Crowell, managing director of construction for the Frisbie Group, said Wednesday.

Coastal Construction, the project’s general contractor, handled the pour from the Royal Poinciana Way side of the 1.3-acre site, Crowell said.

The street was closed to traffic at midnight Saturday, and the pour began at 3 a.m. It was done and the street cleaned and reopened by about 11:30 a.m., Crowell said.

“We finished ahead of schedule,” he said. “The weather cooperated ... and we executed our plan.”

Subcontractor Cemex brought in the material from West Palm Beach over the Flagler Bridge via about 185 truck trips, Crowell said. About 1,850 cubic yards of concrete was poured, creating part of a transfer slab
