Robert M. Siff
Robert M. Siff, 94, of Palm Beach died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, according to the Boston Globe.He had been president and chief executive officer of B-W Footwear, Ambassador Shoe and BWA International.
He was the son of Harry and Amy (Aronson) Siff and the son of Harry and Charlotte (Robbins) Siff. He was raised in Worcester,
Mass., before moving to Palm Beach in 2005.
After completing his freshman year at Brown University, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a member of the 95th Infantry Division under Gen. George Patton. He landed and fought in Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge, and liberated two concentration camps. He earned the Bronze Star.
Following the war, he completed his education at Brown University.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Shrago) Siff; a son, Lawrence Siff and his wife, Joan of Newton, Mass.; a daughter, Karen Ann Siff-Exkorn and her husband Franklin Exkorn of Sparkhill, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ronald and Michael Siff.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Worcester.
Miles Funeral Home of Holden is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery.
