Buy cake from TooJay’s to help combat hunger
For every slice of cake sold in September at its 28 Florida locations, TooJay’s will donate $1 to Feeding Florida, the company announced.
In Palm Beach, the gourmet deli restaurant is in Royal Poinciana Plaza.
TooJay’s first launched a partnership with Feeding Florida in September 2017 and has raised and donated more than $18,000 to the organization, according to the restaurant.
Feeding Florida, formerly the Florida Association of Food Banks, includes a network of 14 member food banks and helps provide food to millions of Floridians facing hunger, according to Feeding Florida’s website.
At TooJay’s, the September cake-slice program benefiting Feeding Florida applies to all kinds of cake the restaurant offers.
Varieties range from coconut to Banana Dream and chocolate layer.
Guests who purchase a slice of cake this month also can make donations by rounding up the amount of their checks.
TooJay’s will donate up to $10,000 during the month-long campaign.
