Construction at Testa’s site enters next phase
Fourth and final large concrete pour completed at site.
Now that this summer’s massive concrete pours are over, residents can expect to see buildings start to spring up at the historic Testa’s site.
Workers are now pouring the columns for one building and laying block for another, said Cody Crowell, managing director of construction for the Frisbie Group, which is developing the site on Royal Poinciana Way.
“Our goal now is to make as much progress as we can before the season so when people come back they will start to see (three of the six) buildings mature,” he said last week.
The shell of the buildings will be constructed on the Royal Poinciana Way side and then on Sunset Avenue. That should be complete by the end of the year, he has said. Next year the focus will shift toward the finishing work.
“Absolutely everything is going well and we are very excited to be coming up out
