There’s sad news for fans of Motown Nights at The Colony. The danceable Friday night trips down memory lane will cease Oct. 26. They date back to at least 2005.

“We are excited to share that there will be a number of new developments in The Colony’s food and beverage experience in coming weeks and months,” publicist Elisabeth Munder said.

“We believe these new elements will appeal to a broad range of clientele and help The Colony better serve and represent the varied interests present in our Palm Beach community.”

Expect more news on that in November, she said.

New York investment banker Andrew Wetenhall and his wife, Sarah, have been diversifying the hotel’s entertainment and recreation lineup since they bought the hotel in December 2016.

The Royal Room cabaret ended its 18-year run in March.

The Colony will continue to provide live entertainment seven nights a week, Munder said.
