Re­cep­tion cel­e­brates Meat Mar­ket exec’s NYC run for Autism Speaks

Se­bastien Tri­bout of Meat Mar­ket has a lot of friends, and it seemed as if every sin­gle one of them turned out to wish him well as he faces the New York City Marathon.

Yep, the New York City Marathon, with its of­fi­cial motto of “Be­cause the Restau­rant Biz Isn’t Gru­el­ing Enough.”

OK, that’s not re­ally the motto.

The re­cep­tion, which also served as an in­for­mal fundraiser for Autism Speaks, took place Sept. 20.

Christina Sag­man, Mari­bel Al­varez and Marla Garchik were chair­women for the even­ing, which in­cluded Tito’s spe­cialty cock­tails; hors d’oeu­vres from Chef Sean Brasel; a raf­fle; and a silent auc­tion items in­clud­ing an Emilio Pucci silk scarf, carved green onyx drop ear­rings from Hamilton Jewel­ers, 100 grams of Rus­sian os­e­tra from Black River Caviar and a 23-year-old bot­tle of Pappy Van Win­kle bour­bon.

Josh Sag­man was chair­man.

More than 100 peo­ple at­tended, in­clud­ing Jes­sica and Charles Simp­son, Shel­ley Menin, Carter Pot­tash, Paco Gil, Molly and War­ren Rob­bins, Elle Dil­lon, Brandy Billinghurst, and Gita and Mark Costa.
