Float through CCA with the greatest of ease
Wasn’t it Lou Costello who said that love is a three-ring circus? (“First there’s the engagement ring, then the wedding ring, and then the suffering.”) Maybe that’s a bit harsh, but Wise Fool New Mexico would certainly argue that Love Is a Circus. This year, that’s the theme of the physical-theater-driven ensemble’s Feast of Fools, a Valentine’s Day variety show. Doors open at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, in the MuñozWaxman Gallery at the Center for Contemporary Arts, 1050 Old Pecos Trail. Tickets are $60 to $120, but before you do a double-take, allow us to point out that admission includes a gourmet meal, courtesy ofWalter Burke Catering. So you can eat, drink, and be merry asWise Fool serves you a feast of feats— feats of aerial and acrobatic derring-do, that is. A cash bar and live music are also be part of the proceedings.
