NEIL YOUNG TRUNK SHOW
Director Jonathan Demme and musician Neil Young reunite to make another concert film that debuts just four years after 2006’s Neil Young: Heart of Gold. That was a tasteful, country-esque affair staged at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. This one is more of a rock experience, as Young intersperses live performances of deep-album cuts with the billionth versions of “Like a Hurricane” and “Cinnamon Girl.” That said, does anyone really get sick of those songs? Not rated. 83 minutes.
