The Short Order
If you crave the distinctive flavors of Mexico that are hard to find here, or if you’ve never had
the chance to explore the brilliant culinary kaleidoscope that lies south of our border, head for the new Santa Luna Restaurant in Santa Fe Village. Chef-owner César Topete’s intriguing and extensive menu takes you on a gustatory adventure from
Oaxaca to Baja California, from Veracruz to Monterrey. The use of fresh natural — and some
organic — ingredients leaves you feeling well fed — and maybe even a little moonstruck. Recommended: chile en nogada, chile relleno, mole verde de Puebla, camarones al ajillo,
wedding-cake cookies, and cheesecake.
