Champion of breakfast

Pasatiempo - - Dear Pasa -

Pasa’s recent [Oct. 8] review of El Tesoro restaurant at Sanbusco dismayed a number of us. The food is always fresh and wonderfully flavorful, and the prices are very low. I have breakfast there several times a week. The Sabroso omelette, made with three eggs, ham, cheese, fresh vegetables, and a large mixed salad costs $8.11 including tax. El Tesoro is indeed in a mall, but this charming and accessible eating place rises above the mall level and is buffered by large trees and plants. I’ve yet to visit a mall elsewhere with fresh, tasty, healthy, highvalue food. For your reviewers to complain about the atmosphere and that the restaurant was out of certain items at the end of the day means they’ve missed what makes this place a true treasure.
