I have never writ­ten a let­ter con­cern­ing your res­tau­rant re­views, be­cause re­sponse to food is such an in­di­vid­ual thing. How­ever, the re­view of Felipe’s is re­ally off base. I be­lieve that the re­viewer does not un­der­stand that Mex­i­can food is gen­er­ally not as spicy as New Mex­i­can food. What Mr. Sanchez sees as bland is food cooked in Mex­i­can style. The food at Felipe’s, where I have been eat­ing for over 10 years, is au­then­tic, fresh, in­ex­pen­sive, and tasty. Judy Craw­ford
