The short order

Tasty, comforting food emerges from the ’60s-era Airstream that houses Slurp, the new “itinerant eatery” parked on Galisteo Street just across the from the State Capitol parking deck. In the efficiently converted iconic trailer, Slurp cooks up three different batches of soup each day — at least one of them vegetarian or vegan — and bakes hefty focaccia, a few sweets, and croissants served at breakfast. You can keep track of each day’s offerings with Twitter and Facebook. Recommended: curried cauliflower soup, Moroccan sweet potato soup, and

green chile mac and cheese.

Ratings range from 0 to 4 chiles, including half chiles. This reflects the reviewer’s experience with regard to food and drink, atmosphere, service, and value.
